Lagos is a city full of well-stocked supermarkets and pharmacies in every area. But shopping with an international bank card (if you haven’t got a local bank account / and if you don’t want to carry a lot of cash), can prove to be problematic.
Lagos is not a cheap place to shop, particularly for imported foods. So planning where you can shop in advance will help to reduce stress and save on time spent in the notorious Lagos traffic.
Not all supermarkets accept international bank cards. But the following which are frequented by expats and locals alike will accept internal Visa and MasterCards.
